Global Oasis Climate Fund and the Embassy of North Macedonia Co-host the North Macedonia Sustainable Development Forum.  

In response to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the global green transition initiative, the Global Oasis Climate Fund will co-host the North Macedonia Sustainable Development Forum with the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia.  

Forum Theme:  

"Green Future · Forging a New Framework of Cooperation"  

Objective:  

To facilitate practical exchanges and in-depth collaboration in sustainable finance, green energy, circular economy, and environmental protection through international dialogue and cooperation.  

Participants:  

Representatives from government agencies, diplomatic missions, United Nations system organizations, academic institutions, business leaders, and non-governmental organizations will attend and deliver speeches to explore new pathways for sustainable development at global and regional levels.  

Key Highlights:  

1. High-Level Dialogue Platform:  

Brings together policymakers, industry experts, scholars, and youth representatives from North Macedonia, China, and the international community to discuss cooperation prospects in energy transition, renewable energy investment, green infrastructure, and climate finance.  

2. Sustainable Finance and Innovation Agenda:  

Focuses on green funds, carbon markets, sustainable investment, and technological innovation to build bridges for resource sharing and collaboration between China, North Macedonia, and global partners.  

3. Award Ceremony:  

The "Ambassador of Friendship Medal" will be conferred to honor individuals and institutions that have made outstanding contributions to advancing China-North Macedonia cooperation, promoting international exchange, and implementing sustainable development practices. This medal symbolizes the continuity of friendship, collaboration, and shared vision.  

International Significance:  

As a nation of cultural diversity and strategic importance in Europe, North Macedonia has demonstrated proactive commitment to green development and sustainable transformation. This Forum will inject new momentum into China-North Macedonia relations and contribute fresh ideas and solutions to global sustainable governance. Through this event, the Global Oasis Climate Fund will further its mission to advance international climate action and cross-regional cooperation, while the Embassy of North Macedonia will strengthen its role as a bridge in fostering mutual trust and partnership among nations.
